California offers a wealth of racing opportunities for Quarter Horses at Los Alamitos and on the California Fair Circuit. Los Alamitos Race Course introduced year-round Quarter Horse racing in 2001. The 2017 Quarter Horse meet runs from Dec. 30, 2016 through Dec. 17, 2017, offering night racing programs, featuring a mixed meet format of Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds.
